This Midwinter Break, my colleague (and friend) Christine and I decided to go skiing to Vermont. This was my first time visiting the state of Vermont and I was surprised how beautiful it is up there. See for yourself...

This is the Tufano's house where we stayed for the entire time. Mr. and Mrs. Tufano are the parents of Christine's friend and they have retired up in Vermont, in Cuttingsville near Rutland.

Their house is beautiful and in the middle of nowhere. The first day we stayed there it snowed the whole day long, so the next morning, when the sun was shining, this is what the place looked like:

This is the view from their house into the open
Countryside

And this was the road from their place down
to the main street.

A typical house (on the left) with a brightly colored
red barn to the right.

The same house seen from the street.

Another farmhouse...

...and another barn

This is the last dairy farm up there.

And this is just a regular house.
This is how some of the churches look like up there

Ok, this is just for all you teachers out there: obviously even in Vermont children aren't the brightest!
So much for the beautiful landscape and houses in Vermont... now, if you'd like to see pictures of Christine and me skiing (as well as pictures of the Killington skiing resort), you have to click here.
